Dr. Richardson, fondly known as "Nicole", is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at South University in 2016 and Masters of Science in Nursing with a graduate program focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University in 2018. She is also backed by 21 years of nursing experience on various levels from CNA to RN from 2001 to 2018. She successfully completed a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2020.
Dr. Richardson is an active member of the AANP, ANA, Polk County Advanced Practice Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the National Nurse Practitioner Entrepreneur Network. She coaches nursing students and nurse entrepreneurs across the United States and precepts current nursing students in the Central Florida area in the specialties of pediatrics and geriatrics.
She is experienced in the areas of emergency nursing, pediatrics, integrative physical medicine, geriatrics, women's health, mental wellness, weight loss, and entrepreneurship.
My Story
I started my career in nursing over 20 years ago as a nurse assistant. I have worked my way up the ranks to the highest level as a Doctored-prepared nurse. I have a special interest in the field of nursing! I believe the way to aid my chosen field is to provide support to advance the practice of nursing through mentorship, advisement, education and consulting.
The Nursing Firm, Inc specializes in moving nurses forward in entrepreneurship through education and training; as well as transitioning companies that employ nurses from a place of disorganization and low morale to a thriving workplace operating in efficiency and hope.
My services range from providing nurse-owned business start-up consulting in a wide variety of specialties to intervention and damage control in at-risk long-term care facilities.
